چکیده
Background: Sphingomonas paucimobilis is a gram-negative pathogen that causes urinary tract infections, diarrhea, septicemia, and wound infections. Due to the spread of patients with high mortality but low in Sphingomonas paucimobilis, it has been isolated from different clinical samples increasing antibiotic resistance all over world. Objectives: The aim our research was look at epidemiology, susceptibility series, pathogenic potential Erbil's Rizgary Raparin hospitals. Materials Methods: A total 2582 were reviewed Hospital male female, we found 24 isolates, identified by using microscopical, morphological, biochemical tests Vitek2 compact system according standard protocol against Ampicillin/Sulbactam, Cefazolin, Ceftazidime, Ceftriaxone, Cefepime, Imipenem, Tobramycin, Ciprofloxacin, Lev- ofloxacin, Trimethoprim. Vitek 2 system. Results: positive results specimens highest percentage female (65%) while (35%) wen performing rate Trimethoprim (66.66%), followed To bramycin (50%), Ciprofloxacin (50%) Levofloxacin (41.66%), respectively contrast effective Cefepime (75%), Imipenem Ceftriaxone Ceftazidime Cefazolin Ampicillin/Sulbactam (66.66%) Conclusion: Morbidity attribute third generation cephalosporin resistant, resistant significant, if prevailing trends continue, societal economic costs can be expected. Better management use, infection control needed avoid infections caused drug pathogens like paucimobilis.

Risk factors associated with Sphingomonas paucimobilis infection.
BACKGROUND Sphingomonas paucimobilis is rarely isolated from clinical specimens and it is associated with a great variety of infections. The aim of this study is to investigate the microbiological and clinical features of S paucimobilis infection in southern Taiwan. METHODS S paucimobilis isolates from the microbiology laboratory of Chi-Mei Medical Center and their relevant clinical data from...
متن کاملPosttraumatic Sphingomonas paucimobilis Endophthalmitis
A rare case of Sphingomonas paucimobilis endophthalmitis secondary to a penetrating globe injury with a retained intraocular foreign body is presented. A 30-year-old man presented with severe pain following a penetrating left eye injury. Visual acuity (VA) was 6/120. Slit-lamp examination revealed perforation of the temporal cornea and iris, hypopyon, and a fibrinous membrane covering the pupil...

From January 1995 to September 1996, 14 isolates of Sphingomonas paucimobilis, including 11 from clinical specimens from six patients with nosocomial infection and three from environmental sources, were collected. Two of the six patients had intravascular catheter-related bacteremia and one each had bacteremic biliary tract infection, urinary tract infection, ventilator-associated pneumonia, an...
متن کاملNosocomial outbreak of Sphingomonas paucimobilis bacteremia in a hemato/oncology unit.
Nosocomial Sphingomonas paucimobilis infections can arise from contaminated water and the contaminated hands of hospital staff. Within a 1-month period, we isolated six S. paucimobilis strains, including four from blood cultures of four patients and two from hospital environment specimens including tap water and a bathtub in a hemato/oncology unit. We described here these strains' molecular epi...
